I have a passion for empowering disadvantaged girls and women to thrive in society by leveraging mentorship and technology.
I started my career in the financial industry and volunteering. In 2020, during the pandemic, a group of 5 professional women and I started a pilot with the goal of helping professional women return to the workforce. The pilot was very successful and caused me and my co-founders to intentionally invest our time to impact more women.
In 2022, we started the nonprofit organization Wise Women with the intention of bridging the gap and helping professional women understand their potential and develop skills to achieve their career goals.
The new enchants me, dreams are clear visions that I pursue daily. I have 13 years of experience in the insurance market, where I worked with financial and corporate risks.
I led systems development projects, new products, worked in the commercial area with strategic business management.
Regarding my endless journey as a student, I am a Graduate in Civil Engineering, Communication and Public Speaking Specialist, Specialist in Finance and Insurance, Training and development of people.
My mission is to learn to teach people, I believe giants they are not born ready, they need to be trained and I am here to to serve society.
My name is Sara Lima, and I am passionate about education and the transformative potential it brings to people's lives. My journey began with a degree in Law, motivated by the desire to one day become a judge. During my undergraduate studies, I was encouraged to think critically and seek justice in all forms.
However, life took me on an unexpected path. I started my career at a large financial institution, where I discovered a world of opportunities. This experience not only provided me with professional growth but also taught me valuable lessons about leadership and the importance of financial education. While working, I decided to deepen my knowledge further and started an MBA, which helped me acquire skills that would be fundamental for my future trajectory.
It was in this dynamic environment that I had the idea to create the "Brincar" project, which aimed to combine education and fun for children. This project was the precursor to my passion for creating innovative learning environments, leading me to found Happy Kids, an initiative dedicated to child development and care.
Currently, I am proud to be the founder and CEO of Be Bright, an exchange company that aims to connect people around the world, broadening horizons and offering enriching experiences. Additionally, I am deeply motivated to help other women find their paths and feel valued in their personal and professional lives. I believe that female empowerment is essential to creating a more equal and just world, and I have been developing projects and initiatives focused on this cause.
My journey, which began with a dream of becoming a judge, has transformed into a commitment to education, cultural exchange, and the empowerment of women. I am grateful for all the experiences that have shaped my path.
